ATLEE RODNEY CONFIRMED AS POLICE COMMISSIONER

Atlee Patrick Rodney has been confirmed as Police Commissioner after acting in the position for just over 22 months. Mr Rodney was presented with his letter of appointment when he met with the members of the Police Service Commission on Tuesday, February 18. His confirmation in the top post in the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda is with effect from November 25, 2019. The announcement was made during a senior administrative meeting at Police Headquarters on Wednesday. He has 38 years of experience within the police force. Meanwhile, Acting Deputy Commissioner of Police, Albert Wade has also been confirmed as Deputy Commissioner of Police. Both men have expressed gratitude to the men and women in the Police Force and to their families for the support over the years.
