BARBUDA 2025 OCEAN FESTIVAL CAPTIVATES ISLANDERS

The Barbuda Ocean Festival & Sustainable Fishing Tournament captivated those on the sister isle on the weekend.  The much-anticipated event was hosted at the Barbuda Fisheries Complex.  While many focused on the fishing tournament, there was an educational perspective as islanders and visitors participated in surveys and learned about coastal conservation through an art display. BarbudanGo and other partners distributed t-shirts printed with fishing regulations — a symbol of both pride and responsibility – while local fishermen and anglers took to the water for a competitive fishing tournament.
