Barbuda Getting Airlift
The absence of airlift between Antigua and Barbuda is coming to an end.
Barbuda Affairs Minister, the Hon. Arthur Nibbs, says during this week, arrangements have been made with Air Anguilla to operate flights on four days – Tuesday to Friday.
Nibbs says arrangements to have flights seven days a week are currently under consideration.
He expects to make an announcement by the end of this week.
The airlift situation in Barbuda surfaced after Air St Vincent informed the government that it had to take its planes out of the sky during December to undergo scheduled maintenance.
