Beer factory Negotiations

Negotiations are now taking place that may see Antigua and Barbuda back in beer production shortly.

The information comes from National Hero and Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, Sir Lester Bird.

He says he has received the greenlight from the Cabinet to engage in discussions with a group that wants to produce beer in the country.

This time, according to Sir Lester the proposal is for the factory to produce the alcoholic drink in cans rather than in bottles as was done previously.
