Beloved Caribbean Broadcaster Nat Moses Dies
The Media fraternity has today lost one of its most beloved and cherished voices.
Nathaniel ‘Nat Moses’ Francis, whose rich baritone voice was one of the most recognisable in Radio in the Caribbean, sadly passed away last night.
The veteran broadcaster was an influential figure in the region’s media scene, holding audiences captive whether it be covering a national event or as a DJ playing love ballads during his popular late night shows.
Moses worked at a few popular radio stations, including Gem Radio and Radio Antilles on Montserrat and Radio ZDK here in Antigua.
Moses on a few occasions, joined our broadcast on ABS Radio and Television covering major national events.
For a period, he stepped into the realm of politics and was successful in winning his seat for the opposition UPP in the 1994 general elections.
Nat’s passing has left a void in Antigua’s media landscape where he was known for his dedication to his craft. His legacy as a pioneering radio personality will be remembered for years to come. ABS will continue to share more details about the life and inspiring work of a fraternal brother.
