BENNA BOYS DRAW 1-1 IN WORLD CUP QUALIFIER

Antigua and Barbuda’s Benna Boys were held to a 1-1 draw against Bermuda in their opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers at the ABFA Technical Center on Wednesday.

Raheem Deterville put the home side ahead in the 26th minute, when he latched onto a through-pass and placed his shot out of the reach of the advancing Bermudan custodian.

Benna Boys goalkeeper Nick Townsend kept his side in the encounter, with several crucial saves.

However, the Bermudans finally found a breakthrough on minute 90, through substitute Sachiel Ming who equalized from close range.

The Benna Boys will travel to the Cayman Islands to tackle the hosts on Sunday.
