BENNA GIRLS OFF TO WINNING START IN CONCACAF NATIONS LEAGUE
Antigua and Barbuda’s Benna Girls have made a bright start to their CONCACAF Nations League campaign, with a 2-1 victory over Guyana at ABFA Technical Centre on Wednesday.
Striker Gabrielle DeSuza scored a brace, netting in minutes 13 and 53. Guyana pulled one back courtesy of a 62nd-minute penalty, but this proved to be only a consolation.
Benna Girls’ head coach Astel Joseph and captain Anik Jarvis were delighted with the victory.
