‘BETTER ORGANISED’ JERRY FORECAST TO BRING SEVERE WEATHER TO THE LEEWARDS

A Tropical Storm Watch remains in effect for Antigua and Barbuda and the rest of the Leeward Islands, as a strengthening Tropical Storm Jerry continues on a path expected to take it north of the islands late tomorrow into Friday.

The Antigua and Meteorological Services continues to urge residents to be vigilant, but cautioned against panic, indicating the cyclone’s strongest winds are expected to stay offshore.
