BLUE ECONOMY MINISTER OUTLINES EFFORT TO MINE FOR RARE EARTH ELEMENTS

The Government has announced efforts to generate billions of dollars in economic activity in coming years from the blue economy.
Portfolio Minister, Hon. Dean Jonas outlined plans to target rare earth minerals in the country’s offshore exclusive economic zone.
The Minister was making his contribution to the Budget Debate in Parliament’s Lower House on Monday.
