‘BROADBAND VITZ’ MODEL TO PROVIDE CHEAPER RATES FOR CONSUMERS
The Antigua Public Utilities Authority will offer internet access at a reduced cost under a new pricing model starting 2026.
Prime Minister and Finance Minister Hon. Gaston Browne has revealed that this ‘broadband vitz’ model will see consumers paying less that $100 per month for the service, insisting broadband service is a public good.
This was among a raft of measures outlined by the Prime Minister, as he delivered his budget presentation on Thursday.
