CABINET ACCORDS OFFICIAL FUNERAL TO DAME EDRIS

Dame Edris Bird has been accorded an official funeral.
The announcement was made in a statement from Cabinet yesterday.
Dame Edris died on Sunday at the age of 91.
She has been credited with influencing the lives of many people through her work in Adult Education and as Resident Tutor of the Extra Mural Department of the University of the West Indies for many years.
