CABINET ASSURES NO PETROL PRICE INCREASES FOR “FORESEEABLE FUTURE”

Cabinet has allayed concerns about any imminent price hikes at the pumps.
The nation’s executive says there will be no increases in fuel prices for the foreseeable future.
The prices for both crude oil and refined petroleum products have remained volatile in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and the resultant disruption in the global energy market.
However, Social Transformation Minister Hon. Dean Jonas communicated the executive’s assurance on prices during Friday’s post cabinet media briefing.
