CABINET REACTS TO PROPOSAL FOR LEGAL PROVISIONS SURROUNDING LIMITED STATES OF EMERGENCY

Cabinet has indicated it is not in favour of a proposal from the police high command for legislative amendments to allow for limited states of emergency to be declared, if the need arises.
Police Commissioner Atlee Rodney broached the issues during a recent interview with ABS.
