CABINET SCALES DOWN INDEPENDENCE CELEBRATIONS

Cabinet scales down Independence celebrations 2020
 
Minister responsible for Festivals, the Hon. Daryll Matthew today announced that Cabinet has approved a scaled down schedule of events for the country’s celebration of its 39th Anniversary of Political Independence.
 
The events will run ‪from Sunday 25th October to Monday 2nd November‬ and will feature the Independence Thanksgiving Service, National Heroes Day ceremony, Golden Age events, National Dress Day, a virtual Independence Calypso Competition, the Ceremonial Parade and Honors Ceremony and Barbuda Day activities.
