CABINET UPDATES ON VACCINE PURCHASE
The cabinet is taking what is being described as a pre-emptive move to secure Russian and Chinese-manufactured COVID-19 vaccines.
The government is making it clear these will ONLY be available for use once they are approved by the Pharmacy Council.
The decision to secure them ahead of that approval is driven by the reality they may not be available after being approved by the relevant bodies since high global demand may leave Antigua and Barbuda left out of supply chains.
