Canada Seeks to Deepen Ties with Antigua & Barbuda

Canadian Parliamentary Secretary for Foreign Affairs, Rob Oliphant, has expressed Canada’s hope to deepen commercial engagement with Antigua & Barbuda. 

In a message on social media (X), Oliphant says both countries are now working toward ‘strenthening mutually beneficial partnerships and investments’.  

Oliphant met with Antigua & Barbuda’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Hon. E.P. Chet Greene, Sunday, in London.  He has also expressed Canada’s gratitude for Minister Greene’s leadership on convening members of the Commonwealth to advance shared interests at this year’s Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM26), which will be held in Antigua & Barbuda from November 1 to 4, 2026.
