Cannabis Found

Police have charged two Grays Farm men with drug possession, after a major discovery of cannabis in the Knuckle Block area Friday.

Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Nuffield Bernett identifies the two as Danny Davis of Grays Farm and Sylvester Jones of Green Bay. They’ve both been charged with possession.

Reports are that the drugs, which were contained in over 107 small plastic bags, were discovered during a random operation by the joint task force comprising police and defence force officers.

Meantime officers, on Friday, were conducting stop and search exercises at various points, including lower All Saints Road, West Bus Station and East Bus Station.

Police Spokesperson Sergeant Frankie Thomas says over 100 vehicles were searched and he commends the officers for their good work.
