CARICOM HEADS BRAINSTORM NEW WAYS TO RECEIVE ASSISTANCE FOR IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE

Caricom Leaders are exploring various initiatives in a bid to get assistance from the international community to deal with the impact of climate change.

One such initiative calls for a Marshall plan similar to what was undertaken to rebuild Europe after the World Wars.

A letter has been sent to the United Kingdom government asking for financial assistance in the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl.
