CARICOM LEADERS TO TACKLE REGIONAL TRANSPORTATION CHALLENGES ‘WITH URGENCY’

Caricom says the issue of intra-regional travel will be given intensified and urgent attention.
The issue has consistently been raised by Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne.
The Government in St John’s has also saved LIAT from liquidation by appointing an administrator to right-size the carrier.
St Vincent and the Grenadines Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves says a discussion was held on the margins of the Caricom meeting among himself, Prime Minister Browne and other regional heads on this matter.
