CARIFESTA X5 OFFICIALS NAMED

Acting Director of Culture Annette Aflak has been appointed as the Director of the 15th staging of the Caribbean Festival of Arts or CARIFESTA XV which will be hosted by Antigua and Barbuda in 2021. Michael Freeland has been appointed to the post of Deputy Director.

Minister Daryll Matthew will function as the Chairman of the Board with Senator Shenella Govia as his Deputy.

The CARIFESTA XV logo was unveiled during the press conference on Tuesday. It was designed by Gamal Goodwin who won the logo competition out of 25 submissions.

Cabinet has approved a budget of EC$12.5 million for Carifesta XV.
