Certified Sampson Arrives for Carnival 2025

Trinidad and Tobago content creator and influencer Jamel “Certified Sampson” has arrived in Antigua ahead of the 2025 Carnival celebrations. The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority, which has long partnered with regional stakeholders like Trinidad and Tobago, is hopeful that his visit will help amplify the island’s tourism appeal to his large millennial and Gen Z following.

A first-time visitor to Antigua, Certified Sampson will participate in the festivities by playing mas with Myst Carnival. He has expressed excitement about bringing his signature six characters to life on the road and experiencing the best of Antiguan hospitality.
