Charlery’s Sentence Adjourned
Delon Charlery, who admitted guilt in the 2021 killing of Customs Officer Zorina Benjamin, will be sentenced on October 17.
Sentencing was adjourned pending a probation officer’s report following interviews with witnesses and the accused.
The St Lucian national previously changed his plea after audio evidence captured heated exchanges followed by a gunshot.
Benjamin died from a gunshot wound to the head at her Golden Grove home on November 22, 2021.
