Chinese to Conduct Cataract Surgeries in Antigua
A team of Chinese Ophthalmologists is expected to arrive in Antigua during 2015, to conduct cataract surgeries and other surgical procedures at the Mount St. John’s Medical Centre.
The announcement is included among a long list of assistance pledged by the Government of the People’s Republic of China to Antigua and Barbuda, totaling more than 30 million US dollars.
It follows talks between Prime Minister, the Hon. Gaston Browne and Chinese Government officials on Tuesday.
