CMC ADDS NEW LOCATION AT UTILITY DRIVE

Operations at the Central Marketing Corporation (CMC) will soon be bolstered with an additional location on Utility Drive in Cassada Gardens.

Confirmation of this comes from Agriculture Minister, Hon. Anthony Smith Jr., who spoke exclusively to our newsroom early Monday.  The Minister confirms full arrangements will be realized within a matter of 4 to 6 months.  He says an agreement has been reached with Ken’s Club to house operations there to bolster an expansion of offerings of CMC.  The Agriculture Minister tells ABS News this will help the Corporation move the sector forward by truly marketing local farmers’ produce, enhancing cold storage, and bolstering efforts at agro-processing. 

Operations at the new facility will work in tandem with those at the current Valley Road location.
