‘COMPLETE VINDICATION’ – PM BROWNE WELCOMES RULING BY US JUDGE IN DISCLOSURE CASE
A United States District Judge has quashed all subpoenas which were being requested by a Russian citizen, as part of a disclosure case in New York.
It represents a major legal victory for Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne and other Antiguan and Barbudan officials and entities.
Yulia Guryeva Motlokhov was seeking to dig into private banking details, but the judge stopped her in tracks, insisting the applicant “failed to meet the statutory requirements for relief.”
The Government is welcoming the decision, with Prime Minister Browne calling it a “complete vindication”.
