CONSUMERS SET TO SEE REDUCED PRICES FOR DOZENS OF BASIC FOOD ITEMS
Consumers can expect reductions in the prices of some basic foods as the temporary removal of the Common External Tariff from 48 items has started to take effect.
Trade Minister Hon. E.P. Chet Greene says the measure began to take effect on Monday, December 8 as part of the government’s efforts to cushion the impact of imported inflation.
