Cort Defends Party

The National Security and Labour Minister, Senator Dr. the Hon Errol Cort, uses the ABS morning show on Tuesday, to speak about the ruling United Progressive Party (UPP) administration and why he thinks the current administration is the best fit to govern for a third term.

He gives an 8 out of 10 grade for his party’s performance since elected to office in 2004.

The United UPP candidate for St. Johns Rural East responded to recent polls predicting a win for the main supposition, the Antigua Barbuda Labour Party saying that the best pole is the work done to uplift constituencies and the ballots on Election Day.

He believes that the recent voter re-registration exercise would have done much to clean up the electoral list.

He says while he is confident of winning the seat for his party in the 2014 constitutional deadline, he would be happy with the outcome decided upon by supernatural power.
