COVAX DELIVERS 24-THOUSAND DOSES OF VACCINES
The World Health Organisation’s COVAX facility has delivered its first batch of vaccines to Antigua and Barbuda.
24 thousand doses of Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccines arrived at VC Bird International Airport mid-morning Thursday, injecting more impetus in the government’s efforts to achieve herd immunity within months.
This is just over half of the 40,800 doses which the government paid for last year.
