Cruise Tourism Officials Excited For Inaugural Calls From 3 Ships

Cruise Tourism officials are excited about welcoming three new cruise vessels scheduled to make inaugural calls to the twin island state in the 2014-2015 Winter Season.

In a recent interview with ABS News, President of the Antigua and Barbuda Cruise Tourism Association, Nathan Dundas, says during discussions at the Seatrade Cruise Convention held in March in Miami, the twin island state can look forward to a prosperous season.

Dundas says there will also be additional calls from the Royal Caribbean Cruise line, which will replace the Navigator of the Seas with the Adventure of the Seas, attributing to an overall increase of over 700 passengers per vessel calling at the nation’s Port.

Dundas adds that in September the country will also have another opportunity to put forward its strategies to attract more vessels.
