CULTURE DEPARTMENT AMPLIFIES FOCUS ON TRADITIONAL CARNIVAL CHARACTERS

The Department of Culture has organized a workshop for this weekend, focusing on the traditional characters of carnival, including the Skelly Hoppers.

The Department says these will be featured prominently on Carnival Monday, to ensure the cultural underpinnings of carnival are preserved and passed on to posterity.
