‘CURRENT ADMINISTRATION HAS TRANSFERRED MORE ASSETS TO SSB THAN ANY OTHER GOV’T’ – DAVID MATTHIAS

Director of the Antigua and Barbuda Social Security Board, David Matthias, says the current ABLP administration has transferred more assets to the scheme than any previous government.

He made the comment during Pointe FM’s Browne and Browne Show on Saturday, amidst continuing public debate surrounding the long-term sustainability of the scheme.

Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne has also reiterated his administration’s track record in bolstering the scheme’s finances, despite continued criticism from the opposition United Progressive Party. Theresa Goodwin reports
