DENGUE CAUSED 8 HOSPITALISATIONS EARLIER THIS YEAR

Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr Teri-Ann Joseph says 8 of the 43 individuals confirmed to have been infected with dengue since the start of the year needed hospital care.
She says all were treated and discharged.
There have so far been no deaths recorded in Antigua and Barbuda from dengue.
Dr Joseph also emphasizes the need for personal responsibility among householders to destroy mosquito breeding sites.
