DENIS BOWERS REHABILITATION CENTRE OFFICIALLY OPENED

The freshly-renovated Boys Training School has been officially reopened as the Denis Bowers Rehabilitation Centre, in honour of its longest-serving principal.

The facility will seek to reform boys who have run afoul of the law and those who are at-risk, paving the way for their reintegration into society.

Officials in the Ministry of Social and Urban Transformation have welcomed the reopening, insisting it demonstrates the government’s commitment to youth intervention and development.
