DENRIS JOSIAH CHARGED FOR MURDER

Police have charged 21 year old Old Road resident Denris Josiah for the murder of fellow villager, 23 year old Ricaldo Joseph. Josiah was charged Wednesday evening after having been taken into custody on the heels of the machete attack which claimed Joseph’s life Sunday morning. Josiah is expected in court Thursday morning.

Police allege Josiah went for a machete and fatally wounded Joseph during a dispute at a bar in the community. A 19 year old man who attempted to quell the dispute, also sustained a chop wound during the incident.
