DEPUTY CMO CALLS FOR HOLISTIC APPROACH TO DIABETES

Deputy Chief Medical Officer, Dr Teri-Ann Joseph is calling for a comprehensive approach to the management of diabetes in Antigua and Barbuda.

Dr Joseph says this approach involves focusing on the physical, mental and social well-being of those living with disease.

She was speaking on Thursday as Antigua and Barbuda joined in observing World Diabetes Day under the theme: “Diabetes and Well-being.”
