DEVELOPING STORY: TROPICAL STORM ELSA FORMS IN THE ATLANTIC
Tropical Storm Elsa has formed in the Atlantic Ocean and is now churning toward the Islands of the Eastern Caribbean. Elsa formed from Tropical Depression Number 5 and becomes the earliest fifth named storm on record in the Atlantic. Based on its current forecast track, it is not a direct threat to Antigua and Barbuda, but could result in increased rainfall over the twin-island state.
