Director Of The Antigua And Barbuda Social Security David Matthias Says Pension Payments Back On Track

Pension payments are on track for the month of August. Assurance comes from Director of the Antigua Barbuda Social Security Board David Matthias.

He told ABS News that the payment cycle has been modified so that there is a specific time of collection each month.

Matthias says for the month of July, there might have been uncertainty as to the date of collection, since the time had not announced.

The Social Security director says there’s been an aggressive push within the Scheme for collection of current contributions. The aim is to maximize inflow amid a monthly deficit of roughly two point five million dollars.

Matthias says a date for the issuance of pension payments is to be announced some time this week.
