DISCUSSION TO BE HELD ON SEXUAL HARASSMENT
Sexual harassment in the workplace is an issue that triggers much debate.
Attorney General the Honourable Steadroy Benjamin says the government is considering a CARICOM model bill that’s being circulated throughout the region.
He says consultations will be held with various stakeholders before decision is made.
The Minister says arriving at a consensus on the definition of sexual harassment will be crucial for the process to advance.
He says others believe there must be explicit acts of sexual advances to constitute the offence.
