DR SHIVON BELLE JARVIS DELIGHTED WITH BABY-FRIENDLY DESIGNATION FOR SLBMC

Head of the Paediatric Department at Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, Dr Shivon Belle Jarvis has welcomed the Pan American Health Organisation’s move to designate the hospital as baby-friendly.
Dr Belle Jarvis says the paediatric department is celebrating this accolade with the maternity ward, neo-natal intensive care unit and the ante-natal clinic.
The other two countries in the sub-region with baby-friendly hospitals are Grenada and St Kitts and Nevis.
