ECAB COMPLETES INTEGRATION OF FORMER SCOTIA ACCOUNTS ONTO ITS PLATFORM

Officials of the Eastern Caribbean Amalgamated Bank have confirmed the completion of the integration of former Scotiabank accounts onto its platform.
ECAB acquired the operations of Scotiabank in Antigua in September 2021, following the insistence by the Gaston Browne administration that local banks be given first right of refusal.
ECAB’s General Manager, Michael Spencer says the management and employees had been working incessantly towards the full integration since the acquisition.
Spencer says it’s a proud moment, but there are still issues to be rectified.
