ECLAC PROJECTS OVER 3% GROWTH FOR ANTIGUA & BARBUDA IN 2025 AND 2026
The United Nations’ Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) is projecting a growth rate of 3.5% in 2025 and 3.0% in 2026. Over the biennium, this country’s performance is expected to outstrip the regional (Latin America and the Caribbean) average growth of 2.2% in 2025 and 2.3% in 2026. Specifically within the Caribbean, excluding Guyana, growth is estimated at 1.8% for 2025 and 1.7% for 2026. Antigua & Barbuda’s growth estimates are expected to convincingly exceed those numbers.
