ECONOMIST SAYS US POLICY SHIFT VINDICATES A&B’S ECONOMIC APPROACH

Economist and UWI Five Islands Campus Principal, Professor C. Justin Robinson says the Gaston Browne administration’s economic model has been validated by recent developments in the United States.

He was responding to the move by the Trump administration to take a stake in large corporations, including intel.

Prof. Robinson sees this as a move by the US towards state capitalism, diverging from its decades-long advocacy of free market capitalism.
