ECONOMY RETURNS TO PRE-PANDEMIC LEVELS FOLLOWING COVID FALLOUT

Prime Minister, Hon. Gaston Browne says the economy has returned to pre-pandemic levels.
The head of Government and Finance Minister made the announcement on Friday at a high-level panel discussion focusing on building resilience to shocks.
The economy’s rebound comes well-ahead of forecasts by the International Monetary Fund, which had projected a timeline of around 2025 for this to happen.
Prime Minister Browne also says prospects for continued economic growth for 2023 and 2024 are good.
