EGG PRICES TO RISE NEXT WEEK
Consumers are set to pay more for eggs as of next week.
The wholesale price of both white and brown eggs will move to 12 dollars per dozen or 360 per case starting July 25.
The Antigua and Barbuda Layer Farmers Association has indicated its membership has been facing alarming increases in the cost of inputs, especially feed.
The Association’s President, Emanuel Peters says members have been absorbing these increases, but are no longer able to continue doing so.
He says the increases are subject to change, depending on further increases or decreases in the cost of supplies.
