ENVIRONMENT MINISTER WELCOMES COUNTRY’S TOP GLOBAL RANKING IN TACKLING PLASTIC POLLUTION

Environment Minister Hon. Sir Molwyn Joseph has welcomed the top global ranking for Antigua and Barbuda in the Environmental Performance Index, EPI.
The index shows Antigua and Barbuda was number one among 180 countries for ensuring the least amount of plastic is released into the oceans.
Minister Joseph hailed the ranking as the upshot of visionary policy-making by the Government, but says the country won’t be sitting on its laurels.
