“EVIDENCE POINTS TO COLLUSION BY PRISON OFFICERS” – ACTING PRISON SUPERINTENDENT SOUNDS WARNING

An investigation is now being carried out to determine the level of collusion by prison officers in the smuggling of contraband into the penal facility.
It follows the seizure of a large cache of items during a search of the prison on Thursday morning including television sets and cellular phones.
Acting Prison Superintendent Jermaine Anthony is sounding a stern warning he has a zero tolerance approach to corruption among his officers.
Anthony says the evidence is pointing to collusion by prison officers, though no specific individual has yet been implicated.
