Farmers to Benefit from Subsidized Irrigation Equipment

Farmers in Antigua and Barbuda are set to benefit from drip irrigation equipment at heavily-discounted prices.

Agriculture Minister Hon. Anthony Smith made the announcement during ABS’ Monday Meeting with the Minister.

He says a new partnership among the Ministry of Agriculture, the Department of Environment and Central Marketing Corporation, aims to bring in drip irrigation supplies at a subsidized rate.
