Prime Minister Hon. Gaston Browne has been praised for his fearlessness at the COP27 climate change summit in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt.
The commendation comes from veteran diplomat, Sir Ronald Sanders, Antigua and Barbuda’s ambassador to the United States and Organisation of American States.

Prime Minister Browne, who is the chairman of the Alliance of Small Island States, called for a loss and damage fund to be created at this summit. He also insisted all polluting nations including India and China to pay for climate damage and for the oil and gas industry to pay a global profit tax.
