FIFA PRESIDENT AND CONCACAF PRESIDENT TO VISIT ANTIGUA
There will be a major boost for football in Antigua and Barbuda this weekend.
FIFA President Gianni Infantino and CONCACAF President Victor Montagliani are to arrive in Antigua on Saturday with other high-profile football officials.
The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association says discussions will center on the local programme and the vision for further development of the sport in the twin-island state.
The heads of FIFA and CONCACAF are to meet with Governor General Sir Rodney Williams, Prime Minister the Hon. Gaston Browne and Sports Minister Hon. Daryll Matthew.
They will also visit the Antigua Recreation Grounds, the ABFA/FIFA Technical Development Centre at Paynters and the Sir Vivian Richards Stadium.
The twin-island state is one of 6 Caribbean territories being visited by the head of football’s world governing body.
