FISHERIES OFFICER SPEAKS ABOUT IMPORTANCE OF CLOSED SEASON FOR MARINE SPECIES
The closed season for marine species is important for their reproduction.

Joseph explains the repercussions if anyone is caught with any marine species in the closed season.
He adds the risks for Fishers and/or sellers are much greater because they can lose their license to fish and/or sell as well as be fined $50,000 or serve time in prison.
The closed season ends August 31.
